A Wonderful Journey at Paridhi 2026: Tenderly Handmade at Meghnad Shah Institute of Technology, Kolkata

Some events leave a lasting impression, and our experience at Paridhi 2026, organized by Meghnad Shah Institute of Technology, was certainly one of them.

Held from 15th to 17th May 2026 at the institute’s Kolkata campus, the three-day tech fest brought together innovation, creativity, and enthusiastic visitors from all walks of life. For Tenderly Handmade, it was an incredible opportunity to showcase our collection of handcrafted crochet creations and connect with people who truly appreciated the art behind every stitch.

As we set up our stall on the first day, we were excited but uncertain about what to expect. However, it did not take long for visitors to start gathering around our display. From crochet keychains and plushies to our handcrafted crochet flower bouquets, people were fascinated by the variety of products and the craftsmanship that went into each piece. Many visitors spent time exploring our collection, asking questions about the making process, and sharing their appreciation for handmade art.

Over the course of the event, the response exceeded our expectations. By the end of the exhibition, we had successfully sold nearly our inventory. More than the sales, what made the experience special was the genuine excitement and appreciation we received from students, faculty members, and visitors. Seeing people connect with our creations and take-home pieces that brought them joy was incredibly rewarding.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Meghnad Shah Institute of Technology for providing us with such a wonderful platform to showcase and promote our handmade products. Opportunities like these play a significant role in supporting small creative businesses and encouraging the growth of handmade craftsmanship.

A special thank you also goes to the student volunteers of Paridhi 2026. Their support, enthusiasm, and willingness to help made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. From assisting us with setting up our stall to helping us with various requirements throughout the event, their dedication did not go unnoticed.

Paridhi 2026 was more than just an exhibition for us—it was a celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and community. We are grateful for every visitor who stopped by our stall, every customer who supported our work, and every organizer and volunteer who contributed to making the event a success.

As we continue our journey, experiences like these inspire us to create more, dream bigger, and keep sharing the beauty of handmade art with the world.
